It rained during most of our stay at Zion National Park. As a result, there were flash flood advisories and it wasn’t wise to hike up the famous Narrows. It was a bit of a disappointment but we still made the best of our 2 days there (we were originally going to stay 3-4).
We took the shuttle to its final stop at Temple of Sinawava – there you hike a mere 1/2 mile to where the canyon narrows to the width of the river. Instead of going in, we crossed the water and spent some time just exploring the wooded area along the base of the steep canyon walls.
Here’s a video clip of Trey enjoying one of his favorite pastimes.
