Sand & Shadows

When camping at Monahans Sandhills in Texas, I woke up before sunrise and walked out on the dunes. It was dead quiet and seemed like I was the only human on earth. The sun rose slowly with a orangish-red glow and created the most incredible shadows across the dunes.

I’ll probably follow this up in a few days with another set of black & white images from sunset at Great Sand Dunes National Park in Colorado. So if you like these stay tuned – there will be more!
