We ran across this Texas oddity by complete accident. I pulled off I-20 at Odessa to let Trey take have a bathroom break and noticed a little sign with a stonehenge icon on it and an arrow pointing north. I headed that way and did a quick Google search on my phone for “Odessa Stonehenge” and found out it was on the UTPB campus. In a few minutes we were there and the lighting was perfect as the sun set in the west.
I ran around taking photos from different angles while Trey entertained himself collecting rocks into piles then throwing them at the massive structures.
