Back in 1976 there was a terrible flash flood in this canyon that the highway runs through.
Tyler Ross told us we had to pass through Big Thompson Canyon on our way to the Rockies. And boy was he right! It was incredible!

Looks like a great trip, something that I would love to do one day. I actually grew up in the Big Thompson Canyon (a survivor of the flood – I was 2 months old). Your video is wonderful and truly makes me home sick. I hope your journey with your son is just as magical as your first trip.
